Horse and ranch lovers, this one’s for you! You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend couple of days on Jake Ream’s private ranch in Spanish Fork, Utah.

A renowned horse trainer, Jake runs Ream Performance Horses, a horse training facility that offers tune-ups, colt starting and cutting services. After Ream graduated from high school, he worked at EE Ranches under Guy Woods, a well-known horse-cutting trainer, where he gained invaluable insights into the ranching industry and worked with the best of the best in the performance horse industry. After Jake sold Yellowstone creator, Taylor Sheridan one of his horses and giving him a few lessons, Sheridan asked if he would help teach the actors how to ride horses at “cowboy camp,” which had been designed to help the actors familiarize themselves with the ins and outs of authentic cowboy life. Ream helped the actors throughout four nights to learn how to work around horses and, of course, to ride them. His main job was to ensure everyone’s safety and that all the horses get properly tacked up. In addition to providing the horses for the show, Jake has been featured in several scenes in Yellowstone as a ranch hand and performing stunts such as roping cattle, cutting horses, and riding a bucking horse. You may also find him in several bunkhouse scenes.

While in Utah, experience your very own “cowboy camp!” Upon arriving Friday afternoon, spend some time in Jake’s indoor arena to practice your cutting, reining, riding or roping. On Saturday, return to the arena and learn how to work a cow (mechanical or live) or just ride around horseback in the arena. Later, Jake will take you on a mountainside horseback ride.

Spend your weekend listening to stories from the set and maybe he will even share some hints of what’s to come this season!
