1.5 hour doubles clinic at DTP with Rocío Portela-Berríos. Rocío was a member of the Puerto Rico Billie Jean King Cup (f/k/a Fed Cup) team, along with Olympic gold medalist, Monica Puig. During her 4 years as a member of Seton Hall University’s NCAA Division I tennis team, Rocío played in the #1 doubles with teammate Chloe Sher. They played in the #1 doubles position every year of their collegiate career. Together, they recorded a school record total of doubles wins, earning them the right to play at the USTA Collegiate Invitational and USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship every year of their collegiate career. Along with Chloe Sher, Rocío continues to hold the record for most doubles wins in Seton Hall tennis team history. Rocío also participated in the National Puerto Rican Open, which is a prestigious national tournament where Puerto Rican players who are in college and on the WTA tour come back to play in a national championship. In this event, she reached the doubles final 3 times and was doubles champion once.
